Dana Ehrlich, Attorney at Law

Dana A. Ehrlich is a Texas native who lives in San Angelo. He comes from a long line of Texans with a proud heritage. His family has ranched in Texas since 1884. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas in 1974, he graduated from the University of Houston with a Juris Doctorate degree.

As a lawyer, Dana has earned a reputation as a tough and knowledgeable attorney whose advice was frequently sought from his fellow attorneys. For more than a decade, the Texas Board of Legal Specialization has awarded him status as a specialist in Consumer Bankruptcy and Business Bankruptcy. He has been recognized as an effective lawyer with special competence and has the knowledge and know-how to handle complex business and consumer matters. He has personally handled thousands of civil cases for more than three decades.

Every client gets an opportunity to rate Dana’s service at the end of the legal matter, and his ratings and scores on professionalism, courtesy, and service rank the very highest.

Dana serves clients all over Texas. His missions are to: protect property and rights; help people through difficult and complex legal matters; and to take the fight to the courtroom, if necessary. He has the education, training, experience, and skill to handle even the toughest and most complicated cases.

“Legal matters require attention to detail, thorough preparation, and skillful advocacy,” Dana says. “I want to win, every time. I know I have to be the most prepared lawyer in the room at all times.”

For more than three decades, Dana’s reputation has been excellent in the legal community. He is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and was one of the first members of the State Bar College of the State of Texas. He is licensed in all state courts of Texas, the U.S. District Courts of the Northern, Western, and Southern Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Nothing in his professional life, however, is easily compared to the accomplishments of his spouse and children. His spouse, Audrey Ehrlich, is an occupational therapist for many schools in West Texas, helping students of all ages with serious learning disabilities to function and succeed in school. His son Daniel, a trauma nurse in Austin, heals with his heart and his hands. His daughter is an accomplished dancer and actress in New York City, as well as being a spouse, mother and friend to all. He also has three grandchildren who bring him so much joy: Beau, David and Hope. Nothing is better or more important than God and family.
